With online polls, it’s easy to fudge the numbers (or any other poll for that matter). He’s one which seems simple enough but the results so far decry common sense.

This was sent to me the other day, and I almost fell out of my seat after participating. I think this is possibly the most disturbing thing I have ever seen. I voted again today after seeing your post, and was equally disturbed to see the numbers still lingering around 50% agree. How on earth is this possible? WTF Brian, seriously WTF.
My head hangs low my friend. The war on intellect in this country continues. (I’m sure someone will call me pretentious for saying so…proof!).
Since it’s reader/viewer poll on the “liberal” PBS site, it’s undoubtedly been bombed by the right wing blogs. Even so, the results are, indeed, shocking.
Not only is Gov. Palin not qualified to be VP, but her selection as a running mate proves (to me at least) that McCain’s judgment is so poor that he’s not qualified for the top spot.
The fact that Obama isn’t polling anything close to landslide numbers leaves me bewildered, worried, and sad for our potential future.
