When I was 16 someone gave me a cassette of this band, Crass. It changed everything… politics and art.
In the spirit of Jason Lazarus’ Nirvana project (and his show opening Friday in Cologne), what band did it for you?

    Violent Femmes first album. I think I was about 14 when I first heard that. It stayed in my tape deck for about 6 months straight.
