NY Photo Fest

Sadly I won't make it out to the Inaugural NY Photo Festival this week. Many good friends will though: Curtis Mann - in The Ubiquitous Image, Curated by Lesley A. Martin Jon Gitelson, Jason Lazarus Ed Panar and Nate Larson in the Museum of Contemporary Photography exhibit curated by Natasha Egan and Karen Irvine Everyone Else, (Myself, Vincent Dermody, Johnathan Feinstein, William Greiner, Scott Jackson, Thatcher Keats, David Laspina, Dan Otranto, Robert Pallesen, Christian Patterson, Ben Pier, Gus Powell, Shawn Records, Michael Schmelling, Brian Sorg, Greg Stimac, Brad Troemel, Pete Voelker, Greg Wasserstrom, and perhaps 150 others) in Various Photographs, Curated by Tim Barber Have fun and don't rub it in that i'll be missing out. UPDATE: It appears missing out is what many did at the opening of the fest last night. Many of the shows did not open at all, doors locked, and angry mobs. The show that did open, Tim's ran out of beer! (Factor if even half of the 170 artists in Tim's show attended and each had 3 beers 85x3=255 beers).
