hey what happened to you promise last month ? of cheap prints for your readership? or maybe a trade?

Stefan, That’s still in the works. Will now be part of Jen Bekman’s 20×200 project.
Though I’m certainly a fan of trades, email me.

hey brian. just got back from studying in and around oaxaca city for the past 1.5 months; just checking out your site–good things abound as usual.

oh, and i wanted to thank you–and some of your cohorts–for giving me some inspiration for what to call my site that i had going while i was down there. i was trying to think of a name that encompassed writing, anthropology, ethnography, photography, and the trip to oaxaca…the unpronouncable word “oaxacagraphy” was the winner:

i was a little too busy to put much on there while I was down there, so im doing a lot of catchup now that im back in the states. maybe i’ll actually be able to keep up when i go back next year…

over and out. see you around internet-land.

What is the name of the photograph you have shown here and who is the man in the photo?

The title is simply Untitled Thrift, 2006. I don’t recall the man’s name but it was taken at a Milwaukee Thrift store last Oct. I’ll have to check my notes.
