I'll be in San Francisco this Wed. for a lecture at the SFAI with photographer Bill Owens. We'll both be showing work and then having a discussion on the Aesthetics of Suburbia. Bill and I met up a month ago when he was in town. He's amazing and a real character, who has done everything from photographing coke parties with an 8x10 camera to running a bar and brewery.
