For those that remember (yes the media’s attention span is worse than a 3 month old), early last summer photographer and friend Kerry Skarbakka’s return to Brooklyn was greeted with his mug on the front page of the Daily News after performing a shoot at the Museum of Contemporary Art. One of the loudest writers in this issue, was a writer from the Chicago Sun-Times, Neil Steinberg, calling Kerry a ‘phony’, attacked his work (which no one had even seen at the time), and contemporary art in general.
It seems it’s his face getting the attention in the press today as he was arrested for domestic battery. Perhaps next time he’ll remember his talent for slander is much more powerful than his fists.
