Chicago Art Center?

Wow. Things seem to really be falling into place here. Lots of good artists which are getting noticed outside as well as inside of Chicago. In addition, I just got back from a very inspiring meeting of the Chicago Art Foundation. The ever prolific Paul Klein along with Tony Fitzpatrick and some others are in the midst of starting a Chicago museum run by artists. With the Tate Modern in London and PS1 in NY as examples, the CAF sees Chicago as holding an institution that exists outside the hegemonic, donor/trustee/collector representation of contemporary art.
Paul also runs an amazing blog/forum which hosts information about this project.
